Hello and Welcome! The Newcomers Club of Fort Wayne was founded to promote friendship among new women residents as well as to help them become active members of our communities. Getting settled in a new community can be a daunting task, and we hope that Newcomers Club can be of some help to you making you feel right at home and part of the community.
Women can join the Club if you live in Fort Wayne or the surrounding areas, within their first 24 months of residence or have had a major life change. Even if you have lived here longer, if you want help making Fort Wayne feel like home; contact us. We can surely help. The Newcomers Club offers a variety of ongoing activities for our members. Whether it's finding a golf partner, joining a book discussion group, touring interesting sites, attending the latest play downtown, or just getting to know a group of ladies in a relaxed setting - we try to have something for everyone. We also have many other activities that you may enjoy, including monthly day and evening coffees, luncheons, play groups for children, evening socials that might include a spouse or friend, wine tastings, and much more.
If you would like to learn more about the club, or if you are thinking of joining, we cordially invite you to attend one of our member/prospective member coffees. The coffees are held at different coffee shops and venues around town where you'll have a chance to meet some other women new to the community, learn what we are about and have a cup of coffee on us. Information about the coffees can be found on the home page of this website. We have a monthly morning coffee and an evening coffee. If you are ready to join, simply download the New Member Form, fill it out and mail it in with your annual membership fee of $25 . For further information, please contact our membership chair at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, we welcome you to the community. We hope your life here will be filled with happiness and friendship. And toward that end, we feel that the Newcomers' Club can be of assistance. Check us out. We know what it's like to move to a new community and are here to be helpful and supportive. We'll personally look forward to meeting you, but, in the meantime, if we can be of assistance to you, please don't hesitate to contact us.
